wtm038 is definitely an outstanding release, something between house and real love to technoid sounds. the long a side comes with a classical intro and turns into a p erfect groovy but still monumental house track. the b starts with the track * call me a cap* and is the third collaboration with dop . great melodic atmospheric sounds with a perfect arrangement between vocals and all the typical addicted masomenos style. the second one on the b side has a featuring with tobi neumann who releases also his third ep with the french duo. * pushpush* is more trippy with a great step sequencer arrangement. all together, great release again from masomenos and this will be a special one which you surely wont forget

since tobi kramer rocked the format b remix contest he has been basking in the brilliance of his remix for socks and sandals. it is no surprise that the two label bosses wont let go of this young man from lower saxony, though one searching for reasons need look no further than his formatik debut ep eye patch.

the restless take a remix break! with their formatik 008, format:b presents three artists- each taking on a title of their current album to knit them in their own manner. at the head the berlin buddies pan-pot, shake the a1 with a breeze of rave-charm as usual right out of their sleeve, rocking the track liquid to its climax then glazing the peak with the smooth voice of fran. on b1 dj pp accelerates. gabriel rocha is how hes called in real life, is one of the south-american stars of the scene, delivering an energetic remix of oversexed. last but not least: the winner of the remix-contest in which format:b has listened through a house-high pile of promos is tobi kramer- a young artist of the neighborhood, who has been casted showing his talent by making out of socks and sandals one more time a club-hit.

mushrooms project are giorgio giri and marco lentano who met back in 2003. their inspiration has come from the idjut boys and the mateo & matos duet. in 2008 the pair had their first production signed by london’s bear funk records. hortly after a new demo arrived at electric minds who were quick to snap up their latest ep for the label. >space mushrooms<, >wilkommen< and >special guest in the camping< are newly created tracks with live instruments throughout. the baleraric and techy sounds provide an original and new sound for the ever growing house / nu disco scene. as an added bonus to this package a remix from toby tobias ( rekids, tiny sticks ) has been commissioned. . check out the sounds for yourself !
